? When are you coming to Dallas, Texas.
I would like to see the show.
We saw the show yesterday, and it was GREAT. Why are you closing the show? It is a piece of American Music History. The acting was superior. The music was wonderful, to hear all those beautiful songs again, and how they were composed was just simply the best. Why don't you do a national tour. Go down to The Villages in Florida. You will have people dancing in the aisle. This show is meant to be played in all parts of the USA. It brings back wonderful memories. I would see this over and over. Please reconsider!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, thank you for a wonderful play.
Loved it. Why are you closing so soon?
Thank all of you for making my 48th birthday special! I'm still hugging my husband for my present. This is one of the best shows I ever saw on Broadway! I don't understand why it's closing. We loved the story, the singing and the music! Thanks to all of the actors and the band for making my night special! I will never forget this night!
I saw this play and enjoyed it very much. I told some of my friends about it and was going to see it again with them. I cannot understand WHY is it closing so soon. The house was packed when I went and everyone seemed to have enjoyed it. I am very upset about this closing so soon. It had me almost wanting to dance in the aisle remembering my old love during that time. It brought back many good memories. I pray that it will continue on Broadway.
Sensational! Beth Leavel gives it her all! Geno Henderson, captivates with chameleon genious. And the women playing the Shirells, on musical wings, will transport you, wonderfully, back in time. The modest set does the trick. And the costumes. Oh my! The costumes are perfect! The men of that era certainly had their own unique style, brilliantly captured in this production, and most likely, never to be seen again. But, I swear, I would love to wear one of those beautiful dresses--tonight!
Your head will be delightfully filled with the sounds and songs of those innocent days. If you were a kid during the early 60's, you will not be able to stop smiling for the rest of the night! And judging by the looks on the faces of (today's) kids after the show--well, everyone is in for a thrilling theatrical treat!
I cant believe the show closing! I had such a great time this summer, I was hoping to bring my parents in the fall. Dont Wait!!! Go see this show!!!! There is no way you wont leave the theatre with a smile on your face, dancing to this incredible music!
My wife & I saw the show on 8/6/11 & would see it again if we could. Thoroughly enjoyable, terrific music, excellant cast, lots of laughs & very good singing voices. voices. Highly recommend.
This was an amazing show--phenomenally talented actors/singers, storyline, music, costumes, sets--all outstanding. There was never a dull moment - loved everything about it! Critics should take note of audiences' adoration and standing ovations during this show. What do stuffy, snobby critics know??! We, the people, know!
"Baby It's You" is a total delight. The songs were familair to me but not the back story. The acting, singing, costumes, and energy are all on point. You leave the theatre singing the songs, smiling, and saying "wow I didnt know that". I think that the goal to entertain and inform was met. To anyone who wants to see good actors in multiple roles; have a good time; and say "glad I got to see BIY'... you have til September 4th to do that. I hope that a road tour can be established so more can see a well performed musical. With the help of word of mouth and ticket sales maybe it can be extended. Good luck BIY and thanks to all involved.
